Angel Edwards has released her latest song, “Lighters”, you can check it out here! Angel Edwards was raised in Toledo, Ohio. Her parents were and still are very supportive, especially with her music career, and she believes she would not be anywhere without them. Around age 5 Angel’s mom made her do chores around the house so to pass the time, she made up songs. Edwards looks up to Carrie Underwood and Dolly Parton for their extraordinary vocal talent.
The new song, “Lighters” came from an idea Angel had with her brother. “I have had the idea for over a decade and since we are all missing the magic of a live concert and the moment when people put their lighters up in the crowd”. Edwards loves performing as she can connect with the audience while telling a story, and dreams of playing the Ryman Auditorium and the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. Angel wants aspiring artists to know that they should “take the risk, especially while you are young, you will want to throw in the towel, but keep going”. Edwards is so thankful for all the streams and shares on “Lighters”! Check out Angel Edwards’ website for all information regarding upcoming shows and music.

Ashland Craft has released her long-awaited debut album “Travelin Kind”, you can check it out here. Ashland grew up singing in Piedmont, South Carolina. While Craft does not come from a musical family, “music is all I knew growing up, I sang in church, around town, and did any and every competition”. Ashland was eventually led to season 13 of The Voice where she made it to the top 10 with coach Miley Cyrus. “I have learnt so much in each faze and stage as a musician, from playing local bars to The Voice, and now touring stadiums, I have learnt how to be confident on stage and believe in myself”.
Craft has been waiting her whole life to create and release a full album. She has writing credits on all but one song and collaborated with some of the best songwriters in Nashville like Erik Dylan (Luke Combs and Brent Cobb), Jessi Alexander (Miranda Lambert and Miley Cyrus), and Jonathan Singleton (Tim McGraw and Maddie & Tae) among many others! Her favorite song on the record is “Leaving You Again” because “it’s empowering, it’s traditional country, and it embodies everything I love”. Craft reflects on the overall album by saying “I wanted the album to be relatable on all fronts for everyone, it really takes people on a journey”. Craft has toured with Luke Combs, is among CMT’s Next Women of Country Class of 2021, and is currently on tour with Zac Brown Band on their “Comeback Tour” with Adam Doleac, Devin Dawson, Gabby Barrett and Teddy Swims. The Piedmont born singer just had what she believes is the highlight of her career so far. While on the “Comeback Tour”, she got to play Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts. “The Fenway show was absolutely the highlight of my career so far. Moments like seeing Fenway (Park) and signing the Green Monster in the park has been the ultimate feeling for me”. Craft wants aspiring artists to know that you should “be yourself. This is what the (music) business is all about. Live your own truth because that makes the best music”. Shriver always thought of a career in country music and always looked up to all women in country (Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton, and Miranda Lambert).
Her parents had no doubts that she could make it and help her as much as they can. Shriver describers her sound as “Pop Country with an old school voice” and loves writing breakup songs. Her favorite song is Fancy by Reba and even saw her perform it at the Grand Ole Opry, a venue she cannot wait to play one day! Shriver has worked with Ben Crosser, Dan Frizsell (Jason Aldean and Lee Brice), Buddy Owens (Shane McAnally and Eric Paslay), and Galen Griffin (Luke Bryan and Joe Diffie) on her music. GRAMMY®-nominated songstress Ashley Monroe unearths and subtly rearranges five of some of the most recognizable songs of all-time with producer Tyler Cain on their new EP "The Covers" available everywhere today. Monroe and Cain’s collaborative project began before she was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer, and the pair finished the project just as Monroe started chemo treatment earlier this year.
The Covers captures Monroe and Cain performing live in the studio with delicate acoustic and stripped-down arrangements, along with featured artists Ruston Kelly on “Love Hurts” and Brittany Spencer on “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You.” "This project began out of a shared love for these songs. There’s just something magical about taking classic songs that we’ve listened to for most of our lives and stripping them down to just vocals and a guitar," Cain shared. "Tyler and I were just hanging at his studio and talking about our favorite songs and I said we should just film ourselves recording some of our favorite songs on Earth. The ones that make us FEEL better. Maybe it will help other people too, Tyler knows me and exactly the way I create and envision songs. It just seemed natural to collaborate on something that is so personal and raw in a way," Monroe said. CLICK HERE to stream and download "The Covers." Michelle Rivers grew up in Leiper’s Fork, Tennessee, just 45 minutes south of Nashville. Her dad was a songwriter and always had songwriters in and out of her home. People like Bernie Nelson (Kenny Chesney and Wynonna) and Alan Shamblin (Miranda Lambert and Bonnie Raitt) were very familiar faces growing up. Rivers wrote her very first song at just 4 years old and learnt how to play the guitar when she was a teenager. In High School, Rivers moved to Austin, Texas. “I needed to leave Nashville and the Tennessee area to discover who I am. I then moved to Montana and never looked back. I have been here for 11 years”.
The now Montana resident loves artists like Miranda Lambert, Kacey Musgraves, Lainey Wilson, but connects with artist Caitlin Canty over her song “Southern Man”. Rivers heard the song live for the first time and was captivated by it. “Southern Man” relates to her life because she is married to a southern man and lives in a northern land, that being Montana. Michelle is currently posting an original song a day on Instagram for 30 days. You can check it out here. When the country folk artist is not songwriting, she loves performing and seeing people in the crowd singing her own lyrics. Rivers dreams of doing a European tour and playing at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. Michelle wants aspiring artists to know that you should “trust your gut and go for it. Don’t get caught up in being perfect, imperfection can be beautiful”. Rivers currently has a Kickstarter campaign to fund her album. You can find it here.
