In addition to the critically-acclaimed release of her fourth studio album hummingbird (Big Machine Records), GRAMMY, CMA and ACM Award-winning Country star Carly Pearce is celebrating a successful wrap of 45 sold-out dates as direct support for Tim McGraw’s STANDING ROOM ONLY TOUR, as well as the album’s lead single “we don’t fight anymore” featuring Chris Stapleton becoming her latest Top 5 hit. Keeping up the momentum, Pearce announces her next single “truck on fire” officially impacting Country Radio on July 29.
“No one wants to be cheated on, but everyone wants to seek revenge,” says Pearce of “truck on fire.” “I wrote this song for every girl who has gone through a similar situation and dreams of wreaking havoc on her ex. I got the opportunity to perform the song live while on tour with Tim McGraw and the way the fans have embraced it has blown me away every single time. I couldn’t think of a better song to make my next single.”

You won’t want to “Getaway” from rising star Harper Grace! The American Idol alum showcased her musical and performance talent at CMA Fest performing on the Good Molecules Reverb Stage accompanied by backup dancers. “My attorney, his daughter, we used a lot of her friends and so she was dancing with me,” Harper told us. “That was such a fun piece to have. They put in a lot of hours on top of them already doing dances and volunteering their time. I was just overjoyed that not only did they want to come and do it but that they enjoyed it. I was surprised too that I could dance in a corset.” Harper’s set included her most recent release “Getaway”, released on May 24th. Harper and her co-writers were so inspired by the picturesque mountains of Utah and the corresponding melody produced by Tedd T. and Cooper Bascom, that the song was written in only 30 minutes. Wanting to capitalize on the magical moment, Harper admits most of the vocals recorded that day ended up in the final mix. A summer anthem, “Getaway” is about leaving all your worries behind and getting away with the person you love. The upbeat song and Harper’s powerful vocals will have you in the car screaming the song at the top of your lungs. Listen here. Harper accompanied the song’s release with a music video, shot in a droptop she wanted to paint the picture of the perfect summer romance. The only problem, it was 20 degrees outside when they shot it. Regardless, Harper is happy with how it turned out and hopes her listeners can “Getaway” for a few minutes watching it. Watch the video below. This Texas native has been busy making stops in Scranton, Chicago, and Nashville. She also announced that she will be joining Lily Rose on tour this fall.
