Reigning ACM New Duo of the Year Tigirlily Gold arrive today with their debut album, Blonde, via Monument Records. In many ways, the project is a culmination of the sister duo’s perseverance in chasing their dreams – showcasing a collection of songs both reminiscent of their five years spent entertaining the rowdy crowds on Nashville’s Lower Broadway, as well as the growth they’ve experienced while navigating love and loss in the mix. “Our debut album is finally out in the world! We’ve spent the past 11 years working towards this moment, and to have this collection of music out feels amazing,” sisters Kendra and Krista share. “We truly feel like we’ve entered a new chapter of our career, kicking it off with the ‘Blonde’ era! Seeing fans reacting and choosing their favorites already is by far the best part. 
 
“Blonde is all about embracing your inner confidence, being bold, wearing your heart on your sleeve, and having the ability to poke fun at yourself when life doesn't go your way. We hope after people listen to these 10 songs they feel like they’ve gained two more sisters in this world,” they add.
 
The debut hits as current single “I Tried A Ring On” becomes their second to reach Top 40 at country radio, and Krista and Kendra Slaubaugh are just getting started. Adding to a blockbuster year for the sisters, Country Now notes the album “reflects their most authentic selves” while American Songwriter opines the project “spins everything true of the duo’s story and artistry into an album of sassy anthems.”
 
The album follows the pair’s 2021 self-titled EP and 2023 Blonde EP and features a cover of the Leona Lewis hit “Bleeding Love,” a favorite in the girls live show, as well as original tracks like the seductive “Move On” which Country Now lauded as “sexy… bold… forward” as it celebrates making the first move. While “Hometown Song” highlights the more serious side of the sisters, describing the push and pull of both loving and hating where you come from.
 
To the sister duo, “Blonde” is a state of mind. “You can’t buy happiness, but you can buy hair like this/ It’s a Dolly Parton state of mind,” they sing on the song’s chorus.
 
Blonde embodies this infectious energy while introducing a new chapter for the North Dakota natives, showcasing their mesmerizing harmonies and adept songwriting alongside relatable stories. The women knew they wanted to create a bold and fearless album. In doing so, they also leave a part of themselves in every song. ​

​Rising star Kaitlin Butts storms into the scene with her new album “Roadrunner!” Released on June 28th, creating the 17-track album was a long road but worth every second. The album showcases Kaitlin’s unique blend of musical theater and country influences. Highlighting her song “Others Girls”, Kaitlin said it was inspired by a line in one of her favorite musicals “Oklahoma”. The line reads “Other girls are coy an' hard to catch. But other girls ain't havin' any fun!” Which she found to be hilarious and relatable, hoping others would too. Modernizing the concept and adding a country flare, Kaitlin loved “Other Girls” so much that she decided to follow it up with a music video. Directed by Chris Beyrooty, the music video was inspired by the dream sequence in “Oklahoma”. It features Kailin in a beautiful emerald green dress surrounded by dancers reminiscent of the 1920s era. Kaitlin celebrated the release at the historic Grand Ole Opry. She explained what that experience was like saying, “Getting asked back [to the Opry], getting asked in the first place is insane. A really neat surreal experience every time, but then getting to have these new songs out and getting to play them on the Opry stage is pretty unreal!”

Playing at the Opry and all over the country, Kaitlin was most excited about playing at this year’s Under The Big Sky Festival in Whitefish, MT. A bucket list festival for Kaitlin who had been watching her idols play there year after year, she was ecstatic when she heard the news. Rising country star Ashley Wineland sets the stage as she unleashes a thrilling dirt bike race with the release of her latest music video “Crank It Up.” As the roaring engines echo against the backdrop of rugged terrain, Ashley’s electrifying performance mirrors the adrenaline-fueled thrill of off-road adventure. Known for her wild ride through heart-pounding performances, this high-energy video goes full throttle with elements of country and rock with her producer Marti Frederiksen, celebrated for his collaboration crossing all genres with some of the worlds best icons like Mick Jagger, Aerosmith, Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill, Ozzy Osborne, and more. 

“Crank It Up,” written by Steven McEwan, who is known for his work with Chris Stapleton, Kenny Chesney, Carrie Underwood; Marti Frederiksen, and Carrie Underwood showcases a new journey and musical adventure, reflecting on the genuine outdoor lifestyle she lives and breathes, particularly amidst the dusty Arizona landscape. Her deep connection to the desert environment adds a gritty authenticity to her sound, setting her apart as she leaves audiences craving more.

Ashley says, “This music video is unlike any others I have done! I wanted to lean into the message "Crank It Up" delivers: jump into action and go live life! Filming this music video was like shooting an action film. Our stunt riders, Carson Millikan, Coehn Hamby, and John Sindle, are so talented and it was exhilarating to watch them work. Of course, I couldn't let them have all the fun. I had my fair share of action on the dirt bikes and side-by-sides.”
As Ashley blazed her own trail in the music industry and revs up her career, her roots are just as firmly planted in the Arizona dirt, giving listeners the authentic experiences of her outdoor country rock lifestyle.

Ashley adds, “The racing community is so strong in Arizona. I am extremely grateful to Bobby White at Arizona Cycle Park for letting us take over the track for the day and bringing this vision to life. We would not have been able to execute this project without the help of many great folks in our racing community. I find being outdoors one of the greatest life-giving activities!
