She’s been “Called Crazy” but that’s not gonna stop the force that is Kassi Ashton. Coming off a whirlwind weekend at CMA Fest performing everywhere from the Chevy Vibes Stage to Skydeck with Universal Music and Margaritaville for SiriusXM’s Music Row Happy Hour, Kassi has been busy showcasing her one-of-a-kind vocals and hilarious personality.
She recently released her song “I Don’t Wanna Dance”, co-written with Emily Landis and Oscar Charles. In the music video, Kassi filled a bar with blow-up dolls to paint the feeling of being alone. “It doesn’t matter if all the people in the bar are even real people if the person that I want to be with isn’t here,” she told us. The vibey sound of The Rolling Stones and Fleetwood Mac inspired the song’s melody and set the mood perfectly. Listen to “I Don’t Wanna Dance” here. Currently on repeat is Kassi’s girl power anthem, “Called Crazy.” Understanding that as women we are often “Called Crazy” she turns the negative trait into a positive one. Stating that “If we flip it and make it a superpower then they can’t really hold it over us, because they love it. Our significant others, whoever they are, they looove it. They don’t want to be with someone who is boring. So why you calling me crazy, if you keep calling me?” To further empower women, she started a “Called Crazy” series on social media to unpack what the world considers “crazy.” Kassi recently received her first ACM Awards nomination for New Female Artist of the Year. When she first got the call, Kassi thought it was a prank not believing it was true until she found herself on the red carpet wearing an ensemble she created herself. Being the child of a thrifty mother, Kassi picked up sewing. Understanding that “a new artist’s budget is $5.32”, she further dove into sewing and stretching that budget as far as she could. And it paid off, Kassi is always looking fabulous! Up next, Kassi finds herself opening for the legendary Jamey Johnson. Always playing in her dad’s shop growing up, Jamey Johnson was in the top five on her bucket list of people to tour with. She admires Jamey’s authenticity, storytelling, and his fans - “real people with real experiences who just wanna relax for two hours at a show.” Kassi is pumped to hit the road and so is her dad who has already seen Jamey live 13 times! Kassi is set to soar this year, releasing more music and gaining traction on Country Radio with her hit song “Drive You Out of My Mind.” Stay in touch by following Kassi on all socials at @KassiAshton and on her website kassiashton.com.

No one has more fun than Chapel Hart, the trio comprised of sisters Danica and Devynn Hart along with their cousin Trea Swindle. Instantly a fan favorite on America’s Got Talent, these Mississippi natives were invited back to participate in the AGT Fantasy League competing on Simon’s team. They came back strong performing their original song “American Pride”, encouraging the country to close the divide and stand together.
Making leaps this past year, Chapel Hart had the opportunity to perform at Nissan Stadium during CMA Fest. Being their first stadium performance, the trio initially felt nervous eventually finding their footing when they saw all those people cheering them on. “Once we took those in ears out and we could hear them cheering and singing along, it was insane in the best way possible. We’re just hoping that someone’s gonna take us on their stadium tour now!” You can also find them performing at the Grand Ole Opry. Since first being invited to play in 2022, the trio finds every possible excuse to come back. Being an Opry Next Stage alum, they’ve graduated from Opry babies to Opry teenagers, they aim to follow in Jeannie Seely's footsteps, hopefully becoming official members and making the Circle their second home. Bringing the joy to any season, Chapel Hart is gearing up for Christmas in July. “If we would let her, Danica would listen to Christmas music year round.” In anticipation of the release of their very first Christmas album, the trio is hosting a series of Christmas in July listening parties to help fund their upcoming holiday release. This will give fans a special preview of songs to be released as well as get the inside scoop on the recording process, inspiration behind the music and who some of their secret celebrity collaborators are! Chapel Hart’s listening parties will take place in Mandeville, La, Nashville, Tn and Orange Beach, Al with additional dates to be announced. Check out their website chapelhart.com for more! Caylee Hammack Releases Powerful New Song “The Hill” - A Perfect Introduction To Her Upcoming Album6/14/2024 Singer-songwriter Caylee Hammack returns with her powerful new song “The Hill”, the first track off her upcoming album. Written with Tenille Townes and Logan Wall, the song speaks to realizing that winning the argument isn’t worth losing the battle with someone you love. Caylee took to Instagram saying, “It kinda poured out of us in the writing room, it only took a couple of hours! It’s kinda a blur, sometimes the best songs just pour out from heaven.” Not initially pleased with the demo, Caylee set off to Scotland and was inspired by the Celtic sound; the missing piece she was looking for. Listen to “The Hill” out everywhere today here. To accompany the track she also released a music video showcasing a love facing an internal tug of war, and the ultimate decision of their fate together. Directed by David O’Donahue and shot in Nunelly, Tennessee you can watch the music video below. Gearing up to release a full-length album, Caylee has been writing nonstop. She found that her most vulnerable and human songs have the highest streams and decided to put it all out there - the good, the bad, the ugly. The album navigates her relationship with herself and others. There’s a song on there for everyone and Caylee can’t wait to share it with the world. Between albums, Caylee was lucky enough to be a part of Ashley McBryde’s “Lindeville.” Feeling like a wild animal stuck in a cage in 2020, Caylee would attend demo gels where songwriters would sit around the campfire, drink, and exchange demos. It was at one of these where she first heard “Brenda Put Your Bra On” and instantly became a fan. Months later, Ashley called her and asked if she wanted to play the character of Lynette and she screamed “Yes!” Caylee describes the process as a delight, from the characters to the costumes, and the sisterhood that was formed. The most magical moment for her was playing the album live at The Ryman and never before did she think women would be throwing their bras onto that iconic stage, but hey anything goes in Lindeville. Right?! Caylee just returned from a two-night run with Brothers Osborne, playing out new music and meeting fans along the way. She loves the fan experience of seeing a show and will often put on a wig and stand in the crowd while the other artists are on stage. Caylee Hammack is a force to be reckoned with and you’ll want to follow her journey on social media at @cayleehammack. |
