"I am so excited to finally get back on the road with this tour! Performing is such a huge part of what I do and I've felt like a part of me has been missing for the last year and a half. We've got an all-new setlist, including songs from the new record, and I'm so ready to sing and dance with everyone! This tour also includes everything from intimate acoustic shows to large outdoor amphitheaters, including my dream venue called CMAC which is where I went to college, with acts like Maddie & Tae, Tracy Lawrence, and more, so every night is going to be different and special!” says Trahan. Trahan's vocals and epic songwriting are showcased on her album as she details her experiences with heartbreak, family, and personal relationships. Trahan pulls back the curtain and gives listeners a closer look into who she really is. Whether in boots or heels, Bree Jaxson is a force to be reckoned with. Afghan Combat Veteran-Country Artist Bree Jaxson released her newest single, “Country Heart City Roots” on May 14th. Jaxson has spent the last ten years serving in the United States Air Force building bombs, rockets and missiles. She is now the Deputy Commander for CyberSpace Operations for the TXANG. Amidst serving our Country, Jaxson has stayed true to her passion of music. She will be releasing her upcoming debut E.P “This is Me” this year.
In her recent single, “Country Heart City Roots” Jaxson sings that she’s, “A city chick and a little more.” Being a native of Baltimore, Maryland it’s hard to imagine there are too many tailgate parties out in the country while singing around the fire. However, after listening to the song it’s hard to believe Jaxson wasn’t born and raised in the South! “Stiletto heels or cowboy boots I got a Country Heart and City Roots.” I’m pretty sure that Miranda Lambert would welcome Bree Jaxson right into her inner circle. “Country Heart City Roots” proves that no matter where you come from, your heart wants what the heart wants. And that might just be the country! Jaxson’s experiences in life have taught her that music can help you get through anything. That is what she is hoping that fans will get out of her newest music releases. Stay up to date with Bree Jaxson at her website or by following her on all streaming platforms. Author: Haley Moloney Kari Holmes has just released her brand new song “When I See You Smile”. The new music video can be found here. Growing up, Holmes started singing at just 4 years old and loved both Blue by LeAnn Rimes and Unchained Melody by Righteous Brothers. She started out doing karaoke and at 17 she taught herself guitar and started playing in local coffee shops, and by 21 she was touring around the country. Holmes looks up to Shania Twain as she “paved the way for female singer songwriters”. She also loves the concert experience and that “feeling you can’t describe during a concert” is what she strives for in her own shows. Holmes got into country music because of the songwriting and storytelling. The “When I See You Smile” singer will be releasing her very first album later this year and is described as “90s pop country feel with current sound”. She is currently working on the album with David Frizzell and accompanied by legendary musicians who have played with Dolly Parton. In addition, Holmes is nominated for 4 Josie Awards including “Modern Country Female” and “Music Video of the Year, Female”. Holmes loves performing but her favorite part is “Getting to interact with the crowd and connecting and inspiring them”. Holmes would say to artists just getting into the industry that “Never give up and always believe in yourself”. You can find her music across all streaming services, and find Kari on social media (@kari_holmes on Instagram). Check out https://www.kariholmes.com/ for more information on upcoming performances. Maggie Baugh releases her first single since the pandemic called “Think About Me.” You can listen to it here. Using the free time in the past year to fall back in love with the music and the storytelling rather than the glitz and glamour of being on stage, Maggie started writing for her. “Think About Me” is just that, something special for her. With an in-depth storyline about loss and not knowing what’s to come next, we can all relate to the songs message.
This summer, Maggie is excited to get back on the road and show the world a more vulnerable side of herself. The official music video for “Think About Me” drops this Friday June 25th. Stay in touch with Maggie on her website maggiebaugh.com. Presley Tennant honors her father in “Half That Strong,” just in time for Father’s Day. Recognizing her father’s work to provide her with a stable life and support her dream, Presley captures her admiration for him perfectly. The music video shows how even as an adult, Presley can always rely on her father for help. It also captures their close relationship in photo albums. You can watch the video premiere below. You might recognize Presley from season 16 of The Voice. On the show, coach Kelly Clarkson helped her find her way back to country music. Inspired by the vocals of Carrie Underwood, the lyrics of Miranda Lambert, and the sounds of Chris Stapleton, Presley describes her music as contemporary country with an old soul. She has had the opportunity to work with top producers including Kent Wells, Chuck Rhodes, and Buddy Hyatt. “Half That Strong” has received tremendous support since its release on June 11th and is only the first of many singles she plans to release in 2021.
