Urban country artist, Lauren Davidson, releases her new single, "Backfire" today.
"I wrote “Backfire” early last year after the pandemic hit with my buddy Adam McDonough who I wrote “Soaking Up Every Second” with. I was spending all of this time at home for the first time in a long time, and with all of my shows and touring being canceled and bad news after bad news every day, I found myself at a crossroads and sometimes a low. I wanted to write something that felt hopeful about the future. “Backfire” is about rising from the ashes when things don’t go the way you hoped and planned, and instead of breaking down, lighting that match within you and letting that fire burn inside of you and drive you to whatever is next," she told Guitar Girl Magazine. Following the success of her last single "Live In The Light” Lauren’s made headway in 2021 and preparing or the release of her EP "Hindsight in 2020” due to release later this year. Being named a Country Newcomer to Watch in 2021 by multiple outlets including Country Sway and PopWrapped, Davidson showcases her roots throughout her meaningful lyrics. When she’s not selling out her own shows and opening for A-list acts across the US, Lauren is in the studio and constantly crafting new music. In keeping with her brand, Davidson promises that her new songs will be “anything but traditional.” You can learn more about Lauren Davidson by visiting www.laurendavidsonmusic.com.

Big Sky Music Group recording artist, Stephanie Quayle, has released her latest single, "Wild Frontier," available now wherever you find great music. The track continues the story of Stephanie's journey through love which began with her latest release earlier this year, "By Heart." As she continues to evolve both personally and as an artist, she is inviting fans to join her every step of the way with her latest collection of music that tells a story of finding and fighting for love.
Recorded almost entirely virtually from home with breakout female producer Alex Kline, "Wild Frontier," was written by a team of powerhouse songwriters - Maren Morris, Shane McAnally, and Ross Copperman. The song explores the vast and limitless connection to those we love and that even through life's darkest and overwhelming moments, there's an unwavering anchor there to bring you back home. "I remember driving down that gravel road for the first time with my whole future on the horizon as the dirt and rocks kicked up behind me," says Stephanie. "I didn’t know my whole world would change that day as I headed towards my now husband. This song is my life, and Montana is the backdrop to our love story — it has been from the very start. Wildly, the pens of Maren, Shane and Ross, captured the spirit of what we think is a legendary love. To be with someone and not need to “tame each other”— these words spoke to me. And I know there are other couples out there that feel this kind of “no fences” love out there too. This song paints that vast picture that you can just get lost in." “‘Wild Frontier’ feels like an extension of ‘By Heart.’ So much so that we leaned into visually connecting the songs to tell this story in the artwork too,” shares Stephanie. “I’m definitely more vulnerable than I’ve ever been with this project -- even down to making sure we included that very gravel road that led me to love.” Stay tuned for a third track from Stephanie this Spring which will round out the first chapter of her upcoming music collection where she continues exploring life and love. On March 29, Nashville’s all-female, singer-songwriter collective, Song Suffragettes, will celebrate their milestone seventh anniversary with two performance rounds featuring 11 singer-songwriters and a special presentation to respected hit songwriter and acclaimed Warner Music Nashville recording artist Ashley McBryde. McBryde will be presented with the Song Suffragettes’ “Yellow Rose of Inspiration Award” for her contributions to the songwriting community, including writing many of the songs that have inspired the 308 women who have performed on the Song Suffragettes stage through the years. McBryde is only the third woman to receive that honor after esteemed songwriter/publisher Liz Rose who received it in 2019 and hitmaker Laura Veltz who received it in 2020. McBryde will also take the stage to perform a few select songs as part of the celebration.
