Power Couple Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd Release "Chasing After You" In Time For Valentine's Day2/11/2021 Country music is known for its power couples and "Murd" is a fan favorite. In anticipation for Valentine's Day, Maren Morris and husband Ryan Hurd will be releasing a duet called "Chasing After You" tonight at midnight. Sitting down with Kelleigh Bannen on her Apple Music show "Today's Country" they discussed working together in the studio, their marriage, and Maren's upcoming album.
Ryan saying, "the song is actually pretty famous on music row. The demo made it through the rounds and a lot of people held it. And so I felt really blessed when it kind of fell to me a couple of years ago. And we recorded a different version of it, but we wanted one that was a little more current and something that fit our sound a little bit better now. And it's gone through a couple of versions, it really has. And I remember we were on a beach in the Cayman Islands, I think it was the first trip we ever took together, and Maren was like, "I want to sing on that song with you." So this is years in the making." The couple recently welcomed their son, Hayes, and will be celebrating their three year anniversary on March 24th. Tune into the full conversation on Today’s Country Radio with Kelleigh Bannen this Friday (Feb. 12) at 6am PT 8am CT on Apple Music Country and pre-save here.

Make room for Hannah Bell, who's new single "Get Rid of It" drops tonight at midnight. “Get Rid Of It” showcases Hannah's powerhouse vocals. This new single takes the listener right through the end of a relationship, making them feel like they’re not alone. Bell saying, "Get Rid of It is a song you can cry to, you can scream to, or lose yourself to. It can heal you, explain you, or it can take you back. I’m very proud of Get Rid of It. It’s multifaceted and I think that’s what makes it such a special song.”
Hannah now resides in Nashville, a student at Belmont University she majors in music business and audio engineering. Prior to her move to Nashville, Hannah lived in Arlington, Texas where she grew up very shy, but always had music to turn to. With the help of her friends and family, she's released six songs before the age of 20. Pre-save "Get Rid of It" on all digital platforms here. With a year of increased travel restrictions both behind us, and ahead further still, award-winning Canadian country-pop artist Alexis Taylor’s new single is the “Getaway” audiences just may need.
“If there was ever a need to escape from reality and take a vacation, 2020 and 2021 are it,” the Huntsville, Ontario-raised, Nashville, Tennessee-based artist muses. “Since so many of us were stuck inside our homes, I had the idea that perhaps a vacation does not necessarily mean going to a particular place, but rather a ‘Getaway’ can be about the person or people you are with. “Don’t get me wrong,” she insists, “I love going on trips — especially to the beach! But to me, it has never been about going to a certain place, it has always been about being with that person who makes it feel like a vacation, no matter where you are. It’s simply the fact that you’re together, and spending time with them; that’s what makes the days feel special. “We may not be able to travel where we want to right now, but we still have each other. Sometimes, surrounding yourself with the people you love during the hard times is exactly what you need to pull through!” Produced by multi-award winning musician John Willis (Shania Twain, Taylor Swift, Willie Nelson, Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan), “Getaway” is the latest to land from Taylor, and follows last year’s trio of singles, “Just One Look (Wariner Remix),” “Cool With That,” and “Desperado.” Since first stepping onto the scene in 2016, Alexis Taylor has racked up over 350,000+ streams across all platforms, played Canadian Music Week, CMA Fest in Nashville, Tennessee, and opened for the likes of Marshall Tucker Band, Love and Theft, Meghan Patrick, Doug Seegers across his Scandinavian tour, and more. She’s won ‘Female Vocalist of the Year’ at the 2018 Tennessee Music Awards, and has been nominated for ‘Modern Country Vocalist of the Year’ at the 2020 Josie Music Awards this September. “Getaway” is available now. Despite her young age, Jordana Bryant certainly knows how to tell a story. Her most recent single “Not Sayin” is a continuation from her first single “This Love.” Part of a three-part series, “Not Sayin” captures the excitement and nerves of saying ‘I love you’ for the first time. A musician too, Jordana learned to play guitar from her dad at ten years old. Once she was able to, Jordana covered and performed all her favorite country songs from Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, and Maren Morris. Seeing any opportunity to perform as a way to spread positivity, she hosts a livestream on Instagram every Sunday. Moving forward Jordana hopes her music can bring a little optimism into the year. Believing, “when you hear the right song at the right time, it can completely change your perspective on something and help you with what you’re going through.” Watch the “Not Sayin” music video below and follow Jordana on her website here.
