New Jersey native and country music newcomer Ali Auburn releases empowering lead single Hero, off her forthcoming record, due out this April. The song, which typifies the theme of empowerment through self-discovery, serves as an inspirational message to anyone who has ever struggled with self-assuredness.
“I wrote Hero after finally getting to the point where I could look at myself in the mirror and know that I was enough. That inner recognition gave me the confidence to pursue my dreams with a new ferocity because I didn’t need anyone else to validate my songwriting or music; I was validating myself. I think that if every girl could get to that point and truly believe in her heart that she is good enough the way she is, then we really could run the world.” Hero, which was inspired by the healing process after a difficult breakup, almost never made it into the studio. “When I wrote the songs that ended up making it on this upcoming record, at the time, I honestly thought that I was done recording and performing. I just needed an outlet, and my guitar was there. But then I realized how special these songs were, and I knew I couldn’t keep them hidden away. So, I decided that I would record them, but that it was going to be on my own terms and in my own way.” Recorded at The Gradwell House in Haddon Heights, NJ, Auburn is responsible for single-handedly writing the lead single and all remaining nine tracks on the project. She also produced the album, alongside engineer and co-producer Matt Weber. Ali Auburn is no stranger to the country music scene, having first taken the leap into the Nashville music scene nearly ten years ago, she’s played hundreds of shows since. Having opened for the likes of Chris Young, Zac Brown Band, and Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul and Mary, her voice has been described as “angelic and pure, with just enough grit to stay interesting.” With a country/pop/rock sound, Auburn blends the sophistication of artists such as Alison Krauss with the playfulness of Kelsea Ballerini. So check out Hero available now on iTunes and Spotify and on her website at www.AliAuburn.com.

Australian singer-songwriter Cassidy Gaiter’s passion for country music brought her to Nashville for the release of her new single All The Feels. An artist who enjoys the writing process as much as she enjoys performing, Cassidy isn’t afraid to put pen to paper writing of experiences of her own. After collaborating with songwriters in Sydney, Cassidy became confident in her own work and set out to Nashville to produce her debut EP. Cassidy’s EP Shake It Don’t Fake It warns listeners to not conform to the “norm.” Featuring a contemporary pop-country sound, Cassidy reflects her lively personality in each track. Cassidy’s latest single All The Feels is sure to give you butterflies. In fact Cassidy recently released the track’s music video, which reminds us all of our first high school crush. [Watch below] Cassidy's next step includes touring across Australia and making annual trips to Nashville. For now you can find Shake It Don’t Fake It on iTunes and Spotify and on her website at www.cassidyraegaiter.com. Best defined as "punk country," Kalie Shorr proved yet again that she is the queen of content, releasing an electric new music video for her hit single “Two Hands.” Shorr gave a sneak peek to a sold-out crowd of industry and media VIPS, fans and friends during her launch party for her new EP Awake last week at The Back Corner in Nashville. The color filled, psychedelic video premiered on CMT and CMT.com Friday morning and has since been added to GAC and to the top of Vevo’s DSCVR playlist.
Shorr says, “this video is the most visually creative thing I have ever done. During the process of finding my sound on Awake, I also found what my world looks like. I have a lot of freedom as an independent artist, so I was able to lean pretty far from tradition on this video, keeping it youthful and exactly what I wanted. I am excited for this to be the first music video from the record and I am thankful to have the support of CMT, GAC and VEVO!” The neon-dream visuals were brought to life at The Listening Room Cafe and Stormlight Pictures Company by director Rob Bennett and Quinton Cook, with Thomas Kuttenkuler as the male lead.
