Whether you’ve heard of Emma White or you’re about to get ready to be amazed. Growing up in Baltimore with her mother who was a songwriter herself, Emma’s surroundings allowed her to pursue a career in music from a young age. Influenced by artists old and new from the Dixie Chicks to Taylor Swift and Justin Timberlake, Emma was ready to branch out of her shell and start making music of her own as an adult. Often writing of personal experiences, Emma isn’t afraid to share her story with the world. Later moving to Nashville where she’s able to collaborate with other artists and perform weekly, Emma is excited to see how the community reacts to her music.
Recently releasing her single Overthink It, which was co-written with college pal Emily Earl, about overthinking what the other person in a relationship is trying to say; Emma hopes her fans can relate to her experience. Having already received praise upon being featured on Spotify’s New Boots Playlist, Emma is confident that fans are enjoying her music. So make sure to keep a lookout for Emma White as she makes a name for herself in country music by following her via Twitter and Instagram @EmmaWhiteMusic and on her website at http://emmawhitemusic.com/.
I am currently a student at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles as a marketing major. Upon realizing that I wanted to change the way people perceive country music and to help women have a voice, I began Next Women of Country in 2015 promoting new female artists and sharing their stories with the world.
